The Schloss Sonnenburg manor is an ancient building, dating back to the 10th century AD. In 1020 the castle was transformed into a monastery. The building survived to many events which became legends in the local history of Val Pusteria. The project is an Interior Architectural Renovation meant to convert this historic castle and former convent into a luxury hotel and spa. The surface of the hotel is 5200 sqm, and it includes 34 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants and show kitchen, 4 lounges and bars, a SPA and swimming pool floor as well as different outdoor areas.The project has been developed maintaining unaltered the austere and rigorous atmosphere of the site granting, as well, the modern commodity.All the elements and furniture fixtures were custom designed integrating harmoniously the past and the future.
